The amp models combined with cabinet sims are going to get me any sound I need. The quality of the sounds I am finding far outweighs any negatives so far. However, I can also already see that I will have no problem getting rid of some of my pedals, ditching my larger pedal board and (likely) using just using this board. I can see that that there will be a couple limitations (mostly around stacking effects, choosing which order they go in like some boards do) but no multi-effect is perfect. There's a lot of heavy sounds in this puppy too, haven't needed them yet. So far I'm mostly sticking to the first two models, clean and cali clean, which are Fender and Dumble derivatives. Somehow, I accidentally assigned the delay to the expression pedal, which was pretty handy. I was able to create four really great sounding patches to use. I had no time on Friday to mess with it but needed to have three usable sounds clean, gritty rhythm, and quasi lead/dotted eighth type delay sound for a few songs. I quickly figured out that it was good enough sounding & is such a light & small footprint that I would use it Live Saturday morning. I picked it up Thursday (for $100) and spent a couple hours that night sort-of learning.
